Mr. Favero grew up in Central Florida, attending Lake Brantley High School. After high school, he attended the University of Florida where he played on the men’s lacrosse team and was an active member of Sigma Phi Epsilon fraternity. After graduating cum laude with a degree in Finance, he began his career working for one of the largest homebuilders in the nation.
After several successful years in the homebuilding industry, the real estate market bubble burst leading to numerous legal issues. Many of the executives Mr. Favero worked with were attorneys by trade, which inspired him to pursue a legal career.
He then attended Stetson University College of Law, where he focused his studies on real estate, business, tax, estate planning, and construction law. During law school, he worked for a construction litigation law firm, a tax and estate planning law firm, and in the legal department for an international restaurant conglomerate.
After graduating law school, Mr. Favero began his legal career at a well respected civil litigation defense firm in Orlando, where he worked for many years as a trial attorney handling hundreds of cases. He then took a position as General Counsel and Vice President of Operations for a local construction company, before deciding to return to private practice. Mr. Favero's practice focuses in the areas of real estate and construction law, including real estate transactions and title work, construction lien and construction defect litigation, landlord/tenant disputes, contract review/negotiation/drafting, collections, and general counsel services.
Mr. Favero is rated "AV Preeminent" by nationally-recognized Martindale-Hubbell, its highest rating for preeminent legal ability--a reflection of overall professional excellence based on experience, legal knowledge, expertise, and the highest professional and ethical standards.
Mr. Favero has maintained a real estate license through the State of Florida since 2004 and is currently licensed as a real estate broker. He lives in Maitland with his wife and their two children.
